Remodeling in Town & Country, Planned Around Your Home
Most Town & Country homes were built with room for a growing family, and many of them are ready for a fresh look inside. Elite Pro Restoration is a family-owned, licensed and insured remodeling company, and we work directly with Town & Country homeowners from the first walkthrough to the final look-around.
Remodeling in a Town & Country home
Town & Country is a community of owner-occupied, single-family homes. More than four in five homes are single-family detached houses, and nearly nine in ten are owner-occupied. The median home was built in 1983, and nearly three in four were built between 1960 and 1999.
Homes from those decades often have generous footprints and good structure, along with kitchens, baths and finishes that show their age. That's a great place to start. We help you rethink layouts, update finishes, and make the space feel current without losing what you love about the house.
Why Homeowners Choose Elite Pro Restoration
Remodeling your home means letting someone into your daily life, and we don't take that lightly. As a local, family-owned company, we're not juggling a call center or subcontracting out your project to strangers. You'll work with the same team from your first walkthrough to the final coat of paint, and you'll always know what's happening next and why.
Our Process, Start to Finish
Every remodel starts with a free in-home consultation, where we walk your space, talk through your goals, and give you a clear, honest quote — no surprise change orders buried in fine print. From there, our design team helps you choose finishes, cabinetry, and materials that fit your home and your budget. Once work begins, you'll have a single point of contact for the entire project, from demo day to your final walkthrough.
What We Remodel in Town & Country

Permits and Plans in Town & Country
Town & Country runs its own building department. The City requires a building permit for renovations, additions, basement finishes, fireplaces, and heating and air-conditioning work, including replacements. The City reviews and issues building and mechanical permits, while electrical and plumbing permits come from St. Louis County Public Works.
Permit applications include two sets of plans sealed and signed by a Missouri-registered architect or engineer. If your plans affect the outside of your home, the City also asks for confirmation that you've contacted your subdivision trustees. The City has also announced it is moving from the 2018 to the 2024 building codes, so we keep track of which rules apply to your project and prepare everything the application needs.
Common Questions About Remodeling in Town & Country
Do I need a permit to finish my basement?
Yes. Town & Country lists basement finishes among the projects that need a building permit. We include the permit as part of the job.
Who issues electrical and plumbing permits?
St. Louis County Public Works issues those, while the City handles building and mechanical permits. We coordinate both so you don't have to.
Do I need to involve my subdivision trustees?
If your plans affect the exterior of your home, the City asks you to show you've contacted your subdivision trustees. We'll help you sort out whether your project touches the exterior and what to share with them.
Can you remodel just one room?
Absolutely. Some projects are a single kitchen or bath, and others touch the whole house. Start where it matters most to you.
How much will my project cost?
Every home and every wish list is different, so we don't guess from a distance. We walk your space, talk through your goals, and give you a clear written quote after a free in-home consultation.
